What not to say

Where did the expression 'It is what it is' come from? It's such a retarded thing to say since it doesn't add anything to the conversation and usually it's false, as if there is no reason why anything happens.

I also hate the expression 'I just threw up in my mouth a little'. I end up picturing that actually happening and it really grosses me out. For some reason 'Gag me with a spoon' doesn't bother me at all, probably because it's actually kind of funny.

Expressions that are so overplayed make me cringe. Do people think they are cooler when they say these things? Because they aren't, it's just annoying and gross.

Also, LOL is retarded, don't write that either.
