So good

I just watched Quinceanera, a wonderful independent, low budget film. It's about a 14 year old Mexican-American girl who is about to celebrate her big 15th birthday, but she is ostracized from her community due to a secret she's keeping. Everthing about this movie is what I wanted on a chilly Sunday evening. The supporting characters were amazing, the peek into Mexican American culture in LA, the invading gentrification, the wealthy Mexican cousins, and the difficult highschool experience dealing with sex and boys amidst conservative parents. I really can't emphasize enough how good this movie is.
